Important Bird Areas in Canada
Margaret Atwood’s book tour for the Year of the Flood, visited 4 Canadian Cities. In each city, the tour promoted and raised funds for different endangered bird programs. Nature Canada needed some information sheets highlighting the different endangered birds and their protected areas.
Nature Canada wanted an illustrative look for the sheets through typography and photos. It gives a field book or birdwatcher’s look to the sheets. Photography was given a Photoshop treatment to get this effect. The sheets used paint splatters and handwritten text treatments to achieve the look.
