Small Business Guide to Logo File Formats

Maybe you already have received your logo package from your designer and feel overwhelmed. This class is for small business owners who don’t have experience with managing their graphic files. In this class I will teach you all about different graphic file formats and break down what uses they have.
In this class, you will learn the following:
Colour Profiles
The 3 main colour profiles and how important they are to your logo. CMYK, RGB and PMS are the 3 colour profiles that I work with creating a logo
Bitmap vs. Vector Files
Bitmap and vector images and the differences, pros, and cons of each.
Vector Files
I will go into detail about vector images and all the specific file formats like IPS, PDF, AI and SVG.
Bitmap Files
I explain more about bitmap images like JPH, GIF, PNG and TIFF.
Print vs. Display
I will talk about print and display resolutions. We will learn about resolution, pixels, PPI and DPI.
Branding Guidelines
I talk about branding guidelines and how they can help your business and if you need them.
