FIFA Women's World Cup Ticket Package

Ticket Package / print design + infographics

FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015™

This was a collaborate effort between the Communications, Marketing and Ticketing teams during my time at the National Organising Committee for the FIFA Women’s World Cup™. The VIP, VVIP, Media and Category 1 tickets were designed a collector’s piece. The design had the spirit of the competition and kept within the branding guidelines.

The bilingual spectator guide came with your printed tickets and give a breakdown of what to expect for the day. It had a helpful Shuéme’s™ Top 5 Tips section infographic.

The envelopes finished the ticket package off. They were designed to repeat the slogan message and branding.

Vision2Voice Website Design

Website / design + wordpress template

Vision2Voice Communications

Vision2Voice came to me to redesign their website. They were already using the WordPress platform for their blog so it made sense to continue using it. The new website would have to be responsive for mobile and tablet use. I designed the website with ease of use in mind.

Bright modern colours, photography, illustration and an easy to find the call to action make up the new website’s landing page. An illustrator was contracted for the icons on the landing page. I installed WordPress, installed the necessary plugins, the designed template and set up all the pages. Visit Vision2Voice Communication’s website

Review / publication design

FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015™

This was a collaborate project during my time at the National Organising Committee for the FIFA Women’s World Cup™. I was responsible for the design. The branding is reflected in the 92-page book using the colours, fonts and treatments of the event.

FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015™ Review was fully bilingual and filled with beautiful photography and infographics. The photography was taken by photographers during the event. Special attention was given to the typography using stylesheets. Please check out the full publication below.

TurnerMoore LLP - Renfrew

Facebook Page / social media + infographics

TurnerMoore LLP – Renfrew

TurnerMoore LLP – Renfrew needed a Facebook Page with help managing and creating content. I maintained their established branding while designing some graphics for their posts.

Having a presence on Facebook allows the public to engage with them, share their content and gain a new customer base. It also is a way of posting upcoming concerns of existing customers.

Information Sheets

Margaret Atwood’s book tour / brochure design

Nature Canada

Margaret Atwood’s book tour for the Year of the Flood, visited 4 Canadian Cities. In each city, the tour promoted and raised funds for different endangered bird programs. Nature Canada needed some information sheets highlighting the different endangered birds and their protected areas.

Nature Canada wanted an illustrative look given to the sheets through the typography and photos. It gives a field book or birdwatchers look to the sheets.

Vancouver Airport

Vancouver Airport Graphics / large wall graphics

FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015™

Vancouver airport had two advertising walls in the arrivals area. The advertising featured both the city’s tourism and our competition while paying special attention to our branding.

I took advantage of the beautiful cityscape with B.C. Place. I featured the trophy since the final match would be played at B.C. Place. Special consideration was given for the large-scale artwork.

Wine and Pints

Wine & Pints Food Pairing Event / logo, poster + tickets

St. Patrick’s Home Foundation

All proceeds raised from the event went towards the purchase of medical equipment in order to provide quality care for the seniors at St. Patrick’s Home.

The St. Patrick’s Home Foundation needed a polished illustration made out of a sketch and idea that was provided.

Andrew D. Taylor

branding, signage + website

Andrew D. Taylor Professional Corporation

Andrew D. Taylor Professional Corporation had just started up the business in the present name and needed everything from branding to letterheads and a website. The logo needed to be readable, have the full name and work well online, on an office sign, business card or fax machine.

A content management tool was needed for the client to update his blog on his own. The WordPress theme was designed with the customer in mind. Everything in this theme was custom made for the client down to the icons and map.

Species at Risk Act Event

Species at Risk Act Event / print design

Nature Canada

Nature Canada needed a bilingual invitation and poster designed. It needed to feature species from different categories that were all at risk of being extinct. The photo montage was created in Photoshop using stock photography.

The rest of the invitation was designed in InDesign. I wanted it to look like someone’s watercolour sketchbook with drips of colour here and there.
